OUR HISTORY:
FROM 1900 A REAL PASSION FOR WATER.

The history of a company is often interlaced with the one of the place where everything began. As fr as Almar is concerned, this place is a water mill. 


In 1900, the progenitor of Civelli family bought a water mill to grind wheat. An old family craft, deeply bound with a passion for water, that will be handed down to the following generations. The same passion with which, after more than one century, Marco and Aldo Civelli will accompany ALMAR on the international market, providing their customers with a new experience with water, that will revolutionize the way of living the bathroom.

2021

Expansion of departments and introduction of new machinery and technologies.

2019

Opening of the new showroom: new collections and new products.

2018

Expansion of production with a new turning and milling department.

2017

Almar is among the first companies in Italy to introduce PVD into its production processes.

2016

The company obtains OHSAS 18001 certification and transitions to ISO 9001 standards.

2014

Opening of the Cocquio Trevisago factory.

2011

The concept of shower systems by Almar is born.

2009

Almar introduces the EcoAir system, for environmentally-friendly water usage.

2008

Almar obtains ISO 9001 certification.

2005

The company begins to participate in the most important industry exhibition.

1998

The first Almar shower products and systems are born.

1995

Almar is born: Marco and Aldo Civelli start their entrepreneurial activity.

1968

Gianluigi Civelli founds Civelli Gianluigi & C snc, a company specialized in mold construction.
